Fonts are a huge part of my job (and my life!), and I spend a lot of time playing around with and discovering new fonts! Consistent (and gorgeous) typography is one of the tools your brand can use to stand out from the pack. Typography is a huge part of brand identity, and it’s a quiet life force behind your brand, drawing the right people to you.
If you’ve never spent some time exploring the wonderful world of fonts, get ready for the time of your life! Here are my favorite places to find incredible fonts.
Different sources and typefaces have different licensing guidelines, so always be sure to read the licensing information.
Creative Market is a great source for fonts, and they truly have soooo many options, but nothing is free, so it can get pretty pricey if you’re going to Creative Market for all your font needs!
Fontesk has a wonderful selection of fonts, and you can even search using the filter “free for personal and commercial use” (always double-check the terms before you use them). It’s a wonderful source for unique free fonts!
Behance has some of the most stunning fonts on planet earth. I love Behance! Like creative Market, it can cost a pretty penny to snag the right license, but Behance has never let me down before!
Google and adobe fonts are great resources as well. Adobe fonts are included with creative cloud memberships, and both libraries are pretty vast. Google and adobe fonts are great to keep in that back pocket.
Dribble has a big selection as well, and they have some especially great handmade fonts! This one is a little new to me, so there isn’t a ton I can say about it, but so far, so good!
